Imagine that after the balcony scene, Romeo and Juliet go somewhere and write in their diaries. Explain how you would stage this scene and write a 100 word diary entry for each of these two characters. Be sure that the entries are both creative and believable.
Romeo (Goes back to his home and quickly locks himself in his room, and then opens his diary with excited actions) :
"Such an amazing and unbelievable night! Did I really see my prettiest rose standing at the balcony? Did I really talk to the most lovely girl in the world tonight? Am I dreaming and writing a diary in my dream which I would never want to get out of it? Oh God, oh, Juliet, your eyes are as shiny as the brightest stars in the distant sky; the words you spoke are as sweet as the honey that I've ever tasted; your single action is as light and adorable as an angel......Who cares about whether you are Capulet or Montague? As long as you love me, as long as my love is truly sincere, obstacles won't stop me approaching you. I can't wait to meet you tomorrow!"
Juliet (Walks around in the room after talking to Nurse and anxiously thinks about what she just did) :
"Oh Romeo, why you were there when I was talking to God and myself? Were I too frivolous to you? It's such a shame that I said something like that! Can you feel my love? The person that I want to marry is not Paris; it's you! You are like a lightning shines on me as long as you appears and gives me a smile. Your kiss on my hand has already driven me crazy. Rose without its name still smells good and enchanting; Romeo without his name is still like a shiny diamond. Do not say anything to prove your love. Please, please do something and I will follow you without hesitation. "
